At London Motorcycle Training (LMTR), we offer Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) that is legally required for all motorcycle and scooter riders in the UK. This training is designed to ensure riders have a full understanding of their vehicle, how to control it, and use it to safely navigate roadways.
The course comprises five separate elements that students are systematically taken through. We utilise continuous assessment to ensure all students become well-versed with the course material, with a Certificate of Completion being issued at the end of the course.
Our DVSA-accredited instructors are dedicated to ensuring our students become safe, confident, and licensed riders. Our Grove Park Lewisham facility is conveniently located near Addington, making it easy to access both classroom instruction and open-road supervised training when the time comes.
For those that are not yet ready to get on a motorcycle, we do recommend starting with our scooter training. Scooters are not as intimidating as they are smaller and less powerful. They are also more affordable to buy and run. However, if you are a novice but want to get straight to motorcycle training, we can still accommodate you. No matter your experience or skill level, we can help qualify you as a competent rider.
