Pre-Requisites To The CBT Course

To do this, you will need to demonstrate whether you can read a vehicle’s number plate from a distance of 20 meters.

Fundamentals

Since the CBT course is geared towards teaching you how to ride a motorcycle from scratch, the course instructor will start off by teaching you about the fundamentals of motorcycle riding by starting off with an introduction to the controls of the motorcycle. This phase is geared towards making sure that you, as a rider, understand what the function of each component is, how to use it best, and when you need to use it. So, you will be able to understand how all types of motorcycles function.

Off-Road Motorcycle Riding

After you are done understanding the mechanics of the motorcycle, you will then move on to riding a motorcycle. However, since you won’t have enough experience, you will start off by practising off-road riding. This allows you to ride in a controlled environment that won’t be overwhelming. You won’t have to worry about other vehicles or even pedestrians. However, to ensure that you develop an understanding of how to ride a motorcycle, LMRT will set up obstacle courses, where you would be guided by cones.

Classroom Sessions

Since this is a basic training course that requires a person to understand the mechanics and then apply them, this comes as no surprise that the best CBT course would also require you to attend classroom sessions. In this phase, you will be learning about how to remain safe while on the road, which includes identifying the dangers that you can encounter while riding your motorcycle and how to best avoid them. On-Road Motorcycle Riding

Now that you have learned the fundamentals, practiced riding off-road, and learned everything you need to know about being safe, our instructor will then transition you on to riding a motorcycle on the road.
