A CBT is about more than the law
The delivery industry has grown fast, especially with gig-economy platforms, and that has meant more riders on the road and more accidents. A CBT certificate is a legal requirement to ride a moped or motorcycle, but it is also about your safety.

Your CBT in five steps
Introduction and eye test
We start with an introduction to the course, followed by a simple eye test to make sure your vision meets the requirements for safe riding.
Off-road training
You will learn the basics of motorcycle control, including starting, stopping and manoeuvring your bike, in a safe and controlled environment.
On-road training
Once you are comfortable with the basics, you take your skills to the road under the supervision of our experienced instructors, focusing on safety and control.
On-road riding
This is where you put everything into practice. You will be assessed on your ability to ride safely and competently in a range of traffic conditions.
Certificate
On successful completion you receive your CBT certificate, letting you ride on the road legally. It is valid for two years, after which you retake the CBT or gain a full licence.
