Do you need to earn or renew a Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) Certificate in Wrotham? LMRT Motorcycle Training provides an authorised CBT course for licenced motorcyclists who require a valid CBT certificate to ride their motorcycles alone in the United Kingdom. No prior motorcycle riding experience is necessary to take our CBT course.
The five elements of our CBT course include the following:
Course Objective – We will discuss the objective of our CBT course and what it will accomplish for you. Then you’ll know what to expect as you proceed in the course. In addition, you’ll get asked to take a standard eyesight test to verify whether you can read car plate numbers from 20 metres away.
Controls – You’ll learn the standard controls on the dashboard of a motorcycle and what they accomplish. Even if you have experience riding a motorcycle, it’ll be a good refresher lesson.
Off-Road Motorcycle Riding – Now, you’ll have a chance to test your motorcycle riding skills on an obstacle course away from the main roads. It is a controlled environment, so you have more freedom to make mistakes here. But you must pass before moving on to the next stage.
Road Safety Lessons – You’ll learn road safety lessons in a classroom environment. The instructor will review the dangers of the road and the precautions you should take to be a safe rider.
On-Road Motorcycle Riding – The last stage is to test your motorcycle skills on the main roads with traffic around you.
Receive Your Certificate of Completion
LMRT Motorcycle Training will issue you a CBT certificate of completion upon completing the on-road motorcycle riding test. The certificate remains valid for two years. After that, you must retake our CBT course to renew your certification for another two years.
