CBT Farningham
The CBT course is the Compulsory Basic Training course in the United Kingdom. Suppose you are a licenced motorcycle rider who wants to legally ride alone on the streets and roads of the country. In that case, you must possess a CBT Certificate of Completion issued by an authorized training institution.
LMRT Motorcycle Training is an official CBT facility in Farningham and the United Kingdom. If you complete the requirements of the CBT course, you’ll be able to ride unsupervised without any legal ramifications. All you need is a valid UK or European license to enroll in our course.
Here is a breakdown of our CBT course in Farningham:
1) Course Objective Review
We’ll review the course objective and everything you will learn from the course. In addition, you’ll undergo an eyesight evaluation to determine if you can read car plate numbers from 20 metres away.
2) Learn the Controls
How well do you know the standard control functions of a motorcycle? Our instructors will review the typical dashboard controls on a bike and how they help you ride more safely.
3) Off-Road Riding
We’ll evaluate your skill in riding a motorcycle through our off-road obstacle course. If you can navigate the obstacle course safely, you’ll proceed to the classroom lessons on road safety.
4) Road Safety
Our classroom lessons discuss road safety tips and procedures to reduce your risk of getting into a traffic accident with your motorcycle.
5) On-Road Riding
The final stage is to ride your motorcycle on a public road while following road safety laws and procedures. If you can do that, you’ll pass the course.
Certificate of Completion
You’ll receive a Certificate of Completion after finishing the CBT course. The certificate will remain valid for two years.
