CBT Lambeth
The Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) course is a continuing education requirement for any licenced motorcycle rider who wishes to stay in compliance with UK law. It doesn’t matter how much experience you have as a rider because this continuous assessment is designed to educate people of all experience levels.
LMRT Motorcycle Training provides a 5-stage CBT course in Lambeth. The stages will either give you new skills you didn’t have before or enhance your existing skills. Once you complete the CBT course and earn your CBT Certificate, you’ll have the legal authority to ride a motorcycle on the road by yourself.
LMRT breaks down the course into the following stages:
1) Eyesight Test
Can you see the road clearly enough? This eyesight test will ensure your vision is good enough for riding safely.
2) Controls
You cannot ride a motorcycle safely unless you understand the dashboard controls and what they do.
3) Off-Road Riding
You’ll get your chance to practice riding a motorcycle off-road to test your skills in a safe and controlled environment.
4) Safety
You’ll sit for a classroom discussion about motorcycle safety and the best ways to maintain this safety.
5) On-Road Riding
If you make it through the other stages, you will get to test your riding skills on the main roads. You will get tested to see if you can navigate the gradients, obstructions, traffic, and junctions without any problems.
