CBT Knockholt
If riding a motorcycle is on your bucket list, then so too should Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). It is a legal requirement before you can start riding a motorcycle or scooter on UK roads. At London Motorcycle Training (LMTR), we offer comprehensive CBT training to those wanting to ride a motorcycle or scooter.
Our Grove Park Lewisham training facility is conveniently located minutes away from Knockholt, making it easy to take up our courses. Our training programs run all year round, with classes available from Monday to Saturday, every week.
Our DVSA-accredited instructors will take you through five separate elements designed to ensure you gain a full understanding of your vehicle, how to control it and safely navigate roads. We do not carry out testing, but rather undertake continuous assessment that will lead to successful completion of the course and awarding of a Certificate of Completion.
Our goal is to help you become a safe and capable rider who can confidently transverse city streets, country roads, and more on your motorcycle. For those hesitant to start with a powerful motorcycle, we do recommend undertaking our scooter course. Scooters are a less powerful but smaller and more economical choice of vehicle. However, even novices may opt to take up motorcycle training straight away. We adapt our training to whatever skill level you are at and will work towards making you a competent and confident rider.
