CBT Vigo
UK law requires motorcycle riders to obtain a Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) Certificate before they can ride alone on streets and roads. The only way to get this certificate is to attend an official CBT course taught by an accredited education institution like LMRT Motorcycle Training.
Our official CBT course is a fast and easy way to get your official CBT Certificate. You simply have to complete the course’s five stages, and then you’ll receive your certificate at the end. Anyone with a valid UK license can enroll in our CBT course in Vigo.
Here are the five stages of our official CBT course in Vigo:
1) Overview
We’ll review the CBT course lesson plan and test your eyesight to ensure you can read car plate numbers from 20 metres away.
2) Learn the Controls
We’ll explain the standard controls found on a motorcycle dashboard and how they make the motorcycle function safely.
3) Off-Road Riding
We’ll test your motorcycle riding abilities on an off-road obstacle course to see how well you can maneuver the motorcycle safely.
4) Road Safety
We’ll review the current road safety laws of the UK, so you know which mistakes to avoid on the road.
5) On-Road Riding
We’ll test your motorcycle riding abilities on actual roads to see how well you can safely ride with people and traffic around you.
Receive Your CBT Certificate
You will receive an official CBT Certificate which allows you to ride alone on streets and roads for approximately two years. After that, you must retake the CBT course to renew the certificate.
