Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) is a basic requirement for anyone wanting to ride a motorcycle or scooter on UK roads. At London Motorcycle Training (LMTR), we offer comprehensive CBT training from DVSA-accredited instructors that will prepare you to capably and safely ride the streets of Tatsfield and beyond.
Choosing to ride a motorcycle is one of the best decisions you can make. It allows you to operate a personal vehicle that is highly affordable, faster, and more enjoyable than the alternative. By completing a CBT course, you can become a confident and safe rider that fully understands how your vehicle operates, how to control it, and safely ride it on roads and among other motorists.
At LMTR, our CBT courses are designed to take students through five crucial elements that will grant them the knowledge and expertise to become capable riders. We customise our training to the unique skill level of each student. This means that whether you are a complete novice or have some experience riding motorcycles, we can build you up into a competent rider.
Our courses do not incorporate testing, but rather, a continuous assessment that will take you through the five elements. Once you have successfully completed the course, we will provide you with a Certificate of Completion.
With the right training, you will be able to enjoy everything from cross-country tours to short commutes on busy city streets with confidence. If you are hesitant to get on a motorcycle, we recommend first undertaking scooter training which will allow you to enjoy the use of a smaller, more affordable and less powerful vehicle. However, if you prefer to get right to motorcycle training, we can certainly accommodate you.
