CBT Greenhithe
LMRT Motorcycle Training is the premier training facility for anyone looking to complete the required CBT course in Greenhithe. The law requires you to possess a Certificate of Completion from an authorized CBT course in order to ride your motorcycle on the road independently.
We accept all students with a valid UK licence or a European licence with a DVLA-issued D91 form. There are no tests in the CBT course besides the off-road and on-road riding evaluations. However, if you can prove you understand the controls of a motorcycle and how to operate a motorcycle safely, you will pass the CBT course.
Here is the full scope of our CBT course in Greenhithe:
Introduction – The instructor goes over the overall aim and objective of the course. You must also show you can see numbers on a car plate from a 20-metre distance. If you have eyesight issues, please bring prescription eyewear to correct them.
Dashboard Controls – You will learn about the standard dashboard controls on a motorcycle and what they do. Learning the controls is the first step to motorcycle safety.
Off-Road Riding – After learning the controls, you will ride your motorcycle on an off-road obstacle course. If you can avoid the obstacles successfully, you’ll proceed to the next stage.
Road Safety – We’ll review the UK highway code and the dangers you must watch for on the road.
On-Road Riding – You will have the chance to prove your motorcycle knowledge during this on-road riding evaluation.
Get Your Certificate of Completion
Pass all five stages of the CBT course and receive your official Certificate of Completion. The expiration date is two years from the date of issuance.
