CBT Greenhithe – Safe, Structured Training for New Riders

If you live in Greenhithe and want to get on two wheels, LMRT’s CBT Greenhithe course is the perfect place to start. A CBT is a legal requirement for anyone wishing to ride a moped or motorcycle in the UK, ensuring you develop the skills and knowledge to ride responsibly.
The course begins with an eyesight check and introduction, before moving on to a detailed explanation of the motorcycle’s controls. Once you’re comfortable, you’ll practise in a safe off-road environment, where you’ll work on balance, braking, and manoeuvring.
After this, our instructors guide you through a road safety session, covering common hazards, speed limits, and defensive riding techniques. The final stage is an on-road ride under supervision, giving you real-world experience and confidence.
Once complete, you’ll be issued with a CBT Certificate, valid for two years, allowing you to ride legally with L plates.
With LMRT providing helmets, jackets, and gloves, all you need is your licence and appropriate clothing to get started.
