Compulsory Basic Training is a required class for earning a CBT Certificate that will let you ride your motorcycle on the road alone. It is an entry-level motorcycle riding course, so no prior experience is required. All you need is a valid UK license to begin your training.
LMRT Motorcycle Training provides a CBT course in Rainham. Our instructors are experienced motorcycle riders who teach the students about motorcycle controls and road safety practices. You will be in good hands taking the course at our facility in Rainham.
Here are the five stages of our CBT course:
LMRT Motorcycle Training recommends coming to class with jeans and sturdy footwear. It is not a formal setting, so you should dress as if you’re going to ride your motorcycle. We will supply you with jackets, helmets, and gloves if needed.
CBT is nothing more than a continuous assessment of your motorcycle riding skills. If you have never taken the CBT before, you will have to complete the course every two years to retain the Certificate of Completion you get after passing the course.
There is no traditional written test at the end of the course. If you make it through the lessons about safety equipment, motorcycle controls, road safety, and off-road riding, you should pass the final on-road riding evaluation with flying colours.
Contact us or book your CBT session online to start our standard motorcycle training course. Students of all experience levels are welcome.
